Most manufacturers are now using Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries and, in the newest generation, they are much improved! While features don’t always make “better” hearing aids (clear speech comes first!) it’s great not to worry about changing small batteries.
Easy to use rechargeable devices are wonderful if you have dexterity problems, arthritis, tremors or low vision. In this case, however, we had 50 year old patient who just prefers the convenience!
