Wax Removal

Our Doctors are trained in advanced cerumen management and use best practices for painless, safe and effective ear wax removal.

Depending on specifics of your ear canal, skin sensitivities and type of wax, a different method will be used.

We use binocular microscope magnification and can remove wax manually with a small instrument (curette), microsuction (gentle vacuum) and cerumenolytic agents (drops to dissolve wax) with irrigation (flushing the ear with lukewarm water).

For the most comfortable deep ear wax cleaning we use the Earigator system, with body temperature water that gently pulses, “massaging” the ear canal and safely clears hard wax in minutes without discomfort.
